This is a great product! I have the earlier model and it has worked well for the two years that I have owned it. Once you get the compost organisms established (it takes about a week) the compost is very sweet smelling and granulated. I have read a review of the new XE model in the Wall St Journal comparing it to worm bins and tumblers and the rest. It seems that the review of the XE was very positive so I will start saving so that I can upgrade. Mine jams once in a while if it gets overloaded and according to the review the new model has a larger motor to prevent those jams. But in my opinion either model of the Naturemill is fantastic and I highly recommend it.
