Resting your notebook on a cushion may be comfortable but makes it easy to accumulate heat. Conventional cushions lack air circulation and essentially traps heat preventing it from dissipating. Accumulated heat may shorten the lifespan of any electronic devices.
Harald Hynell designed a cushion featuring non-slip plastic nubs for comfortable lap computing but does not compromise air circulation. The plastic nubs effectively raises the notebook and allows the hot air to dissipate through the gaps.
