Thanko Silent Keyboard EX one of the world’s most quiet keyboards

Thanko Silent Keyboard EX is designed and built for silence. It manages to cut down noise levels to 44.5 dB, from an average of 61.7 dB our keyboards produce. That’s about one third quieter than an average keyboard without sacrificing size, typing speed and ergonomics.

The Thanko Silent Keyboard EX is a full sized USB keyboard. Looks pretty normal compared to other keyboards on the market with function key and number pad. Doesn’t show it stripes unless it is pressed to do so.

I remember constantly disturbing my roommate while typing away at my PC in the night. That was a decade ago and we didn’t have the Thanko Silent Keyboard EX back then. It is available now via GeekStuff4U for about $50.
